November 5 was my 30th birthday! My coworkers started by taking me to Piccolo Forno for an awesome pizza lunch! How nice was that? Christina then cooked me an awesome fillet mignon dinner that was divine. But the best part came today...she made reservations for the two of us at Joseph Tambellini, one of Pittsburgh's best places to dine. We walk up the steps and as I turn the corner all my family members and my great friends were there for a wonderful surprise birthday dinner! IT WAS AWESOME! The food, the service, the people were incredible. I was totally surprised and amazed. As you can tell by the time stamp, it is hard to come down off a high this big!

I've never had someone surprise me like this! I did however do some surprising to Christina back in 1998. Her prom landed on the same day as my sister's Penn State graduation. Devastated my best friend Frank was going to accompany Christina. Somehow I was able to work it where I could make it home and take Christina so Frank and I just led her along...she was rather surprised when I was standing at the bottom of her steps and not Frank.
